Unboxing the Power of Referrals
Nationwide pet insurance
Nationwide pet insurance needed a memorable, multi-touch campaign to drive engagement in their Friends & Family referral program. The goal was to create a delightful, brand-aligned experience that motivated members to share the benefits of pet insurance and drive new leads through peer referrals.
What we delivered
Sound-Activated “Creature Comforts” Box
We produced a custom house-shaped box that played cheerful barks and meows when opened—turning the unboxing into an experience. Inside, recipients found a playful illustrated interior and a curated collection of pet and human goodies.
Personalized Printed Inserts
Each box included custom-printed materials like recipe cards, referral guides, and personalized notes featuring pet names. Printed, and packed in-house, everything was tailored for charm and clarity.
Branded Referral Microsite
We built and hosted a companion microsite where users could send invites, track engagement, and earn rewards—all branded to match the physical kit. A unique QR code tied everything together, connecting offline excitement with online action.
End-to-End Fulfillment
Kitting, printing, shipping—all handled under one roof by our California team. With every detail managed in-house, we ensured quality, accuracy, and speed from start to finish.
Omni-Channel in Action
This campaign brought nearly every corner of PSG’s offering to the table—from creative concepting and web development to precision print, personalized data, and hands-on fulfillment.
We designed and produced custom packaging, printed personalized inserts using variable data, developed a fully branded microsite, and managed inventory, kitting, and national distribution—all under one roof.
By connecting tactile delight with seamless digital sharing, we helped Nationwide deliver a referral experience that was scalable, trackable, and impossible to ignore.
Creature Comforts didn’t just delight pet parents—it earned top industry recognition.
